SMART SLOTH · FOCUS, HELP & PRIVACY
Smart Sloth privacy policy
How Smart Sloth handles information on your device and through the services it uses. Effective October 11, 2026.
Who is responsible
Smart Sloth is provided by Jafar Najafov. For questions about this policy or the app, contact us at the address below. This policy covers Smart Sloth; the privacy choices on this website apply separately to website analytics.
Tasks and information on your device
Smart Sloth does not require an account or sign-in. Tasks, routines, timer state, preferences, purchase-related state and session history are stored locally on your device. The reviewed app does not include a task cloud-sync service.
A small snapshot of the current and next task and timer, including task names, color, duration and remaining time, is shared with app widgets. Companion messages are exchanged with a paired Apple Watch through Apple device facilities. These features rely on the paired iPhone and system update scheduling.
Version differences and services
The information sent by Smart Sloth depends on the version you have installed. Earlier versions containing Firebase or Meta SDKs can send app-use events, app or device identifiers, and diagnostics according to their SDK and service settings. Earlier installed versions and information already received by providers are not changed by an update.
Smart Sloth 3.0(3) is a prepared update that has not yet been released. Its verified app package contains no Firebase or Meta analytics, crash-reporting or attribution collectors, and no replacement developer analytics or crash-reporting service was identified.
Tasks, routines, settings and history remain stored locally. Supported companion features exchange app data with your widgets and paired Apple Watch through Apple device facilities. The app validates Apple purchase receipts locally and can contact Apple's iTunes service to check app information for rating prompts. Apple handles its own services under its policies.
Earlier versions may continue their previous collection until updated. Updating or removing the app does not erase information already received by providers. Provider processing and retention depend on the applicable services and configuration; no particular retention period or deletion of provider records on uninstall is promised here.

Notifications and purchases
Smart Sloth uses local notifications when you allow them. You can change notification permissions in iPhone Settings.
Purchases and restores are handled through Apple StoreKit and receipt validation. Apple processes the purchase under its policies; Smart Sloth keeps purchase-related state locally to recognize access. Subscription management and billing are handled through your Apple account.
Support and your choices
If you choose to email support, we receive the message and information you include. The app opens an email composer with a recipient and subject, without automatically adding a message body or attachments; it does not send a support message without your action. We use support emails only to answer your request and resolve the problem, not for marketing. Avoid including sensitive task contents or payment details.
You can remove tasks and local app information using the app or device controls. Removing the app can remove local records, so preserve anything you need before doing so. Local removal does not cancel an Apple subscription, erase Apple purchase records or necessarily delete information held by analytics providers.
Contact us with privacy questions or requests. We will consider the request in light of the information and services involved; this policy does not promise an unimplemented deletion endpoint or analytics control.
