LingoMax Privacy Policy
Privacy information for the LingoMax update candidate: local storage, service integrations and your available choices.
About this policy
LingoMax is an English vocabulary-learning app published on the App Store by Jafar Najafov. Published 6 October 2026. The technical information on this page describes LingoMax version 1.4.5, build 1, reviewed on 8 October 2026. It has not been verified against older installed versions, including 1.4.4. Removing an integration from this update does not delete records previously held by that provider. The contact and request-handling policy below takes effect on 6 October 2026 and is available to all LingoMax users, including existing users. The separate privacy notice for jafarnajafov.com explains data handling when you visit this website or use its contact form.
Learning information on your device
The reviewed app stores learning progress, word selections, language and level preferences, quiz state, and trial/purchase-related flags on your device so lessons and settings can continue between sessions. It does not apply a general automatic expiry period to these records. An app-generated identifier is stored in preferences and the iOS Keychain.
Learning records and preferences are stored locally, but the app also uses OneSignal for notifications. That SDK processes identifiers and activity information as described below; local storage does not mean the app collects no data.
Analytics and diagnostics
Version 1.4.5(1) no longer includes the reviewed Firebase Analytics, Fabric/Crashlytics, Facebook AppEvents and MyTracker integrations. OneSignal remains. It registers a notification subscription using device/vendor and subscription identifiers and a push token where available, together with operating-system/device details, app/SDK version, language, timezone, network type and notification-permission status. Its SDK reports session and notification-interaction information. The OneSignal account contains session analytics and subscription segments based on last-session time and session count; account totals are not attributed here to this particular app build.
The retained SDK also includes automatic analytics for eligible completed App Store purchases. It prepares the product identifier, amount, currency and, where applicable, quantity for reporting with a OneSignal subscription identifier. This is separate from Apple's payment processing. The owner's intended use of OneSignal is notifications; that does not disable the SDK's automatic analytics. These records can be associated with device/subscription identifiers and are not described as anonymous.
The app does not request location permission on a fresh installation with undetermined permission. The retained SDK nevertheless has location sharing enabled and can attempt to obtain and report coordinates where location permission was previously granted. Actual location delivery by this build has not been verified. Advertising-identifier access is conditional on system availability and permission. These code paths are not a claim that every user supplies these data.
Notifications
The reviewed app initializes OneSignal and asks for notification permission. You can change notification permission in iOS Settings. Notification permission is separate from analytics processing and tracking permission.
App Store purchases
Subscriptions and purchases are offered through Apple’s App Store. Apple manages its payment transaction and subscription account. The reviewed app validates receipts locally, supports purchase restoration and keeps purchase-related state to manage access. The retained OneSignal SDK includes the purchase-analytics path described above. No first-party payment-card entry form was identified.
Remote offer configuration
At startup, the reviewed source requests offer configuration from an HTTPS resource hosted by Dropbox. That method sets no request body or custom user identifier. Connecting to the host nevertheless exposes ordinary network/request metadata; host logging and retention remain unverified.
Contact and privacy requests
For LingoMax support, privacy questions or requests to delete your information, email jafar.najafov@gmail.com.
Your choices, retention and deletion
The reviewed app has no first-party account registration or general in-app delete-data control. Removing local app data does not request deletion of records held by analytics or notification providers. Removing preferences alone does not remove the persistent identifier stored in Keychain.
Jafar Najafov reviews support and privacy requests received at jafar.najafov@gmail.com. We ask only for information necessary to identify the relevant records. For records we can identify, we send a deletion request through the service provider’s available process and inform you of the result, including any limitations. Your email address is not the common identifier used by these integrations, so an email alone may not identify your provider records. We do not promise that every record can be identified or deleted.
We keep request correspondence while resolving the request, then delete it unless a specific legal obligation requires us to retain it. This correspondence policy does not set or change service providers’ retention periods.
Provider-side retention periods and deletion procedures for this candidate have not yet been verified. No global retention duration or automatic provider deletion is asserted here. Local data has the persistence described above; provider-held records have separate lifecycles. We do not promise a fixed provider retention period or complete erasure on uninstall.
Service providers and international processing
OneSignal remains integrated in version 1.4.5(1); removed integrations may still hold historical records or remain in older app versions. Provider storage locations, retention periods and deletion coverage are not established by this source review. Current vendor documentation for a newer product does not establish the behavior of these older integrations. This notice makes no claim about a particular processing country or transfer safeguard.
