Covered apps and versions

Coverage also includes the source-reviewed forthcoming German Turkish Dictionary + 1.2 update. This coverage describes the reviewed source and its local-data practices. It does not certify earlier installed versions, a final release binary, App Store release or Apple approval; no build number is asserted.

Coverage additionally includes the source-audited forthcoming updates German Dutch Dictionary + 1.2, German Romanian Dictionary + 1.2, Dictionary: German-French 3.2, German Italian Dictionary + 1.2, Spanish-German Dictionary + 1.2, German Swedish Dictionary + 1.2. Their marketing versions were confirmed in App Store Connect. This does not assert a reserved build number, a validated new binary or release approval.

This policy is provided by Jafar Najafov for French Italian Dictionary +, version 3.2 (5), the forthcoming update reviewed on 6 October 2026. It describes that update’s practices. It does not certify earlier installed versions or cover other dictionary apps that are not listed here.

Coverage also includes the reviewed source candidates French Chinese Dictionary + 1.2 (3) and German-Portuguese Dictionary + 1.3 (2). The same local-data practices below were verified in their source audits. This is not a claim that those candidates have been compiled, released or approved by Apple. Older versions and unlisted apps are not covered.

The support contact is available now to users of these apps. The app-specific technical policy applies when you use the covered update. Last updated: 8 October 2026.

Information on your device

The dictionary works offline. Saved words, recent searches, practice progress and preferences such as text size, appearance, pronunciation voice and speaking rate are stored locally on your device. This version does not require an account.

The reviewed app contains no advertising, tracking or analytics SDK and no app-operated service that receives these records. This statement concerns the covered app version, not your use of email, web pages or Apple’s system services.

Pronunciation uses Apple’s speech system and voices available on your device. Availability of additional voices and system services depends on your device and Apple settings.

Sharing is your choice

When you choose to share dictionary text, the app opens Apple’s sharing interface. The person or service you select receives the text you choose to share and handles it under its own privacy practices. Sharing does not automatically publish your saved-word collection.

Local storage and deletion

Local records are retained between sessions so that your saved words, history, progress and settings remain available. You can remove saved words and clear recent searches in the app. Clearing recent searches does not clear all practice progress or preferences.

The app has no account or server-side profile to delete. We cannot remotely erase local data from your device. Removing the app may remove local data; do not use that as a first troubleshooting step if you want to preserve your progress.

Your device backup settings may include app data. Backups are managed through your device and Apple account settings. Removing data from the app does not promise removal from every backup.

Privacy and support pages

Opening the published Privacy Policy or Support page uses your browser and requires an internet connection. The link-opening action does not attach your saved words, search history or practice progress. Browsing this website is a separate activity, governed by the website’s privacy notice.

Support and privacy requests

For support, privacy questions or deletion requests, email jafar.najafov@gmail.com. You choose what information to send. Email includes your sender address and the message and attachments you provide. Avoid sending passwords or unnecessary personal information.

Jafar Najafov reviews requests and asks only for information necessary to resolve them or identify the relevant records. We explain the result and any limitations. There is no app-operated cloud copy of the local dictionary records for us to retrieve or delete.

Request correspondence is kept while resolving your request, then deleted unless a specific legal obligation requires retention. This describes our handling of correspondence, not a guarantee that every copy held by an email service or in a backup is immediately erased.
